“There’s something magical about a still photograph - a captured moment in time - that can simultaneously exist outside the fraction of a second the shutter captures.“

Immagini statiche decongelate e trasformate in attimi.
Of course the technology to create GIF’s has been around for decades but I believe its potential for both expression and impact, within the fashion world, has yet to be fully explored. Let me put it this way – film has been around for a century, does that mean that we’ve exhausted the possibilities?

wonderful post, very informative. I ponder why the opposite specialists
of this sector do not realize this. You must proceed your writing.
I am confident, you’ve a great readers’ base already!
Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have truly enjoyed surfing around your blog

Good day! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering if
you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding one?
Thanks a lot!
It’s impressive that you are getting thoughts from this paragraph as well as from our discussion made at this time.
Develop the topic further! It is interesting to know more details..!
I like the “picture” of the man reading the paper! I wish the world would stop like that for me to get time to read the paper during my lunchtime too. :)
Great GIF technology, and your work is really remarkable.
Love to you Dear
An amazing collection of gifs, really love these. It looks like not everyone likes the works of some very clever people being brought to one place but I’m really glad you did. I’m not sure quite how I could incorporate one into a wedding shoot as yet but I will certainly get my thinking cap on and possibly one day a work of mine might be up there.
Good job!
Wow this is incredible. I never saw something like this before. Absolutely beautiful..all of them
Beautiful post and nice photos!
amazing vintage effect and the movement effect !! How’d you do that ??
Woah, how did they do this??
I love this. It reminds me of Harry Potter.
Live is always better!)
I’d be pig sick that my glass never filled up with the red wine. Fascinating collection
Hey There. I found your blog the use of msn. This is a very smartly written article. I?ll be sure to bookmark it and come back to read extra of your useful info. Thanks for the post. I will certainly comeback.
Beautiful models, wonderful technique!
Very interesting technique.
Lovely all of them are…
A very artistic technique to convey sensations by adding a new dimension–”t”.
This reminds me of the scenes in the Myst games… Its beautiful work, I wish I knew how to do this.
the is too amazing dear :).. keep it up
Love it! Enjoy seeing photography taken to the next level. Thank you for sharing!
Excellent!
Here’s how I think this was done: lots of photos were taken on a tripod, a master photo was selected and then the photos were masked out to just leave the moving part. That way the master photo is not influenced by the micro changes of light of the multiple exposures. Great idea!
Blaise
me encantan!!! como se hace eso en las fotos???!!!!!!!!!111
Great idea for a post.Thank you!
AMAZING…. \o/
geniale!
hmmm just love it
I’d like to use one on my home page.
Possible?
Allan
It reminds me of how I’ve always thought of photographs in Harry Potter
Of course the portraits were animate and responsive, but I always imagined the movement in the pictures to be more subtle, like this :)
Last day I visited an interesting website about beautiful toys in the world.Guys please don’t miss that.Just check http://www.toyarena.com and have the fun

God damn! These are really mind blowing! I just love a few of these! Like the barber shop one, the 3rd last and the balcony one!
Absolutely inspiring :)
I loooove the barber shop one and the one with the girl in the mirror, super dark makeup… When she looks over so you make eye contact, I get shivers all down my spine :) These are great and decently artistic!
what the hell? why are the pictures moving?!!!!!!!!!!!
these are gifs at another level, amazing. must’ve taken quite some time. as everyone else has already said- immediately reminded me of harry potter! xxxxx
Great effect – each photograph a still in its own right but with your subtle movement. Well done
Very cool. Reminds me of the moving photographs on the wall of Hogwarts
Very cool – and very creepy – almost like they are forever alive in the screen.
These are awesome but a few of them looked kind of creepy!
@a Nann – that is like saying “why do those morons at the Louvre make these big rooms that simply jack Da Vinci’s work? This is all museums are filled with anymore”.
Some brilliant work here. I specifically like the newspaper one, really great image work.
I love these Gifs, really creative work.
great list ….amazing.
Yeah, they are defniitely gif-files, but I think these look more cinematic and complicated than pretty much every “normal” gif I’ve ever seen
Sc6Zhx izgybkzqwzlr
Reminds me photographs in the world of Harry Potter!
AMAZING…. \o/
These are strikingly brilliant! How on earth was it done?
this is proof that little things matter.
Simple. the impact is Enormous. Everything you need Is in your backyard alread….y. :) BRILliaNt!
Cool idea, but the non-breathing people look super-creepy.

It’s always good to see technology mixed with creativity. A simple idea turned out to something extraordinary!
This reminds me of the portraits in Harry Potter. It looks very nice! :)
Extremely amazing images look like harry potter movie.
this is awesome.
it is possible if these photos printed in a photo paper?
and still moving?
just wondering.
Reminds me of the moving Harry Potter pictures, very nice
when the future comes, i can see people putting pictures like these in frames.
But how to make another object still unmoved? Thanks
Jaime:
I think they shoot with a very fast camera, at least burst of 10 shoots per second, and then with selective editing they let the part they want to move.
I could not wait and took some photos from my balcony and did one, of course the quality, and artistry, is not even near their masterpieces. I think this is something that has a great future in the world of magazines published in electronic form.
Just Magical like coming from the Daily Prophet…
nicee!!!!!
AMAZING
Genius!!
WOW! I have never seen anything like these before. I love them!
Magical piece of images, never seen before.
These are simply lovely, taking already striking images and making them memorable. Honestly, not to detract from the tasteful and realistically applicable nature of these images but these images make me wish for technology to produce publications like in the Harry Potter story, to glance at a magazine of a lovely woman and suddenly she blinks, or smiles wryly. What an impact that would make on the advertising market! I think such a thing would revitalize the physical publication market. But I’m off on a tangent; though, if anyone were to make a web magazine, images like these would make such an endeavor well worth perusing and revisiting. Well done indeed! And thank you for sharing your works with us. ;]
I see this type of stuff on tumblr a lot, but these are very artistic and I wish I knew how to do them! A little creepy though.
These are amazing and could be used for educational and instructional purposes to great extent. I would love to know how they are created.
INGENIOUS….very nice!
{heart}!!
Amazing GIFs images even they are smoothly moving, very inspiring post ;)
mind blowing GIF’s. first time i ever seen this type of post. thanks

just amazing, beautiful to look at.great work.
Very very great gifs. Nice Work!
omg, so amazing!!! great job!
this is amazing! nice work.
why the fuck do you morons make these websites that simply jack everyone elses content? this is all stumbleupon is filled with anymore.f uck your bullshit website
what is your problem? we offer a service, we point out the artists and their works, and talk about their work. instead of writing offensive comments, you can simply avoid visiting our blog.
thank you.
Websites which feature other people’s work, especially those which collect a range of quality offerings are invaluable. The number of sites and the amount of content on the internet is ridiculously vast and I rely on many sites to do the hard work for me and source great examples – especially when it comes to art and design.
Thank you so much for showcasing this innovative approach to photography/videography. I have not seen anything quite like it. I’ve bookmarked your site and will look through to see what else is showcased here!
Felicitaciones Jamie y Kevin!

Wow. so beautiful. First time when i see this type of photos

Me encanto. Los efectos estan espectaculares.
imagine these as desktop backgrounds :D
these are amazing, i could see these hanging on a wall on those digital frames, I think you have started something here, great job
reminds of photographs in harry potter series,,,,,brilliant
Fantastic work. The wine and the cake mix are particularly amazing.
If you like these images, try this too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXRQqM9WZvk
Great shots. Very nice.
Could I purchase these cinemagraphs?
In alcuni casi il risultato è davvero meraviglioso
( ‘o’) Amazing and beautiful
Bravo! These are fantastic, a wonderful, artistic execution. Thank you for sharing.
this is sooo creepy
very good, it has a very nice resemblance with julian opie works. thank you for you for sharing.
these are fascinating to look at… :)
i want a tutorial for those pictures please
i’m in love with those pictures.
apart from the kudos and all that, a more pressing issue is where can I purchase that magic saucepan and the never ending chocolate?
bellissime!
The GIF “technology” is irrelevant and a bad choice for a file format in most of the cases. Those images were made out of video footage probably in After Effects with tons of masks and rotoscoping.
Still quite inspiring work!
That picture of the lady near the window is mezmerizing.
Le conoscevo già… davvero belle, progetto molto raffinato.
hanks for the comments.
these two artists transform the GIF in a form of art.
great stuff, have enjoyed every single one of them
an old idea finally realized
these are so wicked
never seen anything like this before, crikes mate they’re fantastic, more encore please.
love it!
