The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn è un film in 3D del 2011 diretto da Steven Spielberg e prodotto da Peter Jackson, tratto da ”Les Aventures de Tintin“, comic strips create dal fumettista belga Georges Rémi, in arte Hergé.
Lo script si basa su tre delle storie originali di Hergé, ”Le Crabe aux pinces d’or“, ”Le Secret de La Licorne” e ”Le Trésor de Rackham le Rouge“. Le riprese avrebbe dovuto iniziare nell’ottobre 2008 per una release nel 2010, ma il loro rilascio è stato ritardato al 2011.
Il produttore Peter Jackson, la cui società Weta Digitals si è occupata dell’animazione al computer, dovrebbere dirigere un sequel. Spielberg e Jackson dovrebbero poi co-dirigere un terzo film.
