“In painting, putting well known and recognizable icons and symbols in a contemporary context is nothing new. Artists have been doing it for centuries. It’s like finger exercises, a dialogue with the masters, but everyone wants to interpret those themes in their own way. “Help Japan” raccoglie alcuni dei poster che gli artisti e le organizzazioni di tutto il mondo hanno dedicato al Giappone, spaccato prima dal terremoto e travolto poi da uno tzunami.
“Vedo la strada come unità su cui riflettere come un agrimensore sovversivo; ciò che faccio può essere definito “City Art”, in cui sviluppo una filosofia dell’essere-urbano basata sulla riflessione dello spostamento attraverso il tempo”.

Anche per la terza edizione del concorso indetto da 42 BELOW VODKA la sfida per aggiudicarsi il premio finale è stata all’insegna della creatività. Le aspettative sul numero di partecipanti al concorso “Party Colours” di Poster_42 non hanno tradito le attese ed i numeri delle scorse edizioni; più di 500 opere uploadate, 42 le finaliste. Da queste sono state scelte le 3 opere vincitrici, quelle che meglio hanno saputo catturare l’attenzione della giuria.
