Feminine power and intimacy seen through the eyes of 34 female authors: this is the concept of the new volume “A soft gaze at intimacy” published by Selfself Books.
In addition to being a publication, “A soft gaze at intimacy” is a place where you can meet and connect with the stories of the photographers and find the strength to move forward in the common fragility. It is a collective volume in which the 34 international authors use a visual path made of bodies, landscapes, objects and human relationships to talk about femininity and intimacy.
The project is not only a common work, but it is a work that turns to the community, as today, March 28, on the website of Selfself Books has been opened a fundraising campaign related to the publication that will aim to support the Ukrainian association CVIT. In fact, if the commitment of the photographers is to share their moods transforming them in the moods of all, the authors, among which stands out the Ukrainian photographer Kris Voitkiv, have decided to support this women’s reality that since the outbreak of war has been committed to help and provide medicines and means of protection to the Ukrainian population.
The campaign will be active until May 11, while the official presentation of the book will take place during the festival LIVE – Living Inside Various Experienc by Selfself that will take place from June 10 to 12 at Pergola15 in Milan.
