The maternity raincoat of The North Face Japan

It’s called “MTY Pickapack Rain Coat” and it’s the latest design from The North Face Japan and part of the maternity line launched a year ago.

It consists of a genderless spring raincoat that can be modified to suit the needs of pregnant women, dads and to protect even the littlest ones from the elements.

Constructed with Hyvent shells that are breathable and water resistant, they have an oversized fit that adapts to both the various stages of pregnancy and postpartum.

The coat also comes with a pouch that can be clipped to the back of the raincoat and acts as a baby backpack.

This back compartment can be hermetically sealed with a zipper so that it can withstand the weather and in addition, it has a transparent EVA window so that you can always check on your little one and gives your child the opportunity to always watch the parent.

Of course, thanks to the oversized design by Machiko Yono, supervisor of The North Face Japan’s Maternity line, the baby can breathe naturally and smoothly.

The unisex “MTY Pickapack Rain Coat”, available in utility brown and black, will be released in the coming days on The North Face Japan webstore.
