A while ago we talked about the 12 Minutes About Peace project citing Border, which in 2014 had the goal of celebrating the centenary of the First World War. Among the twelve short films, there is also Charge! by Gerrit Bekers, a video always one minute long, from the end between the surreal and the sci-fi.

Two soldiers run against each other in the middle of an empty battlefield, full of death, desolation, and abandonment. In this no-man’s-land, far from the real battle, the war continues to live.

But the clash takes an unexpected turn, no winner and loser, no blood, no life sacrificed or wasted. An external event changes the course of things, even managing to turn an enemy into a friend.
