Daft Punk will create the soundtracks for Dario Argento‘s new film.
As is well known, the famous Italian director is working on his next film, “Occhiali neri“, which sees his daughter, Asia Argento, in the cast of the film.
In an interview granted to la Repubblica, Dario Argento said that it will be a thriller, but clearly he didn’t anticipate anything.

Shooting was supposed to start in May, maybe it will start in September, with cinematographer Luciano Tovoli spending afternoons discussing colours and atmospheres, waiting to return to the set.
Dario Argento also added that it will be one of his most interesting films, according to those who read the screenplay, including the French duo, Daft Punk, who sign the soundtrack.

Here are his words from Daft Punk in a recent interview: “They are my admirers, they know all my cinema. They heard from French friends that I was shooting a new film and called me: “We want to work with you”. We feel very often, ‘we’ll send you the first tracks soon’, they’re enthusiastic. They will come to Rome as soon as they can”.

Black Glasses promises to be a great movie before it’s even shot, Daft Punk after years are back on the scene!
