After sampling the sounds of the preparation of the Christmas dessert par excellence, the Panettone, Food Ensemble – the reality from the union of musician and composer Francesco Sarcone, chef Andrea Reverberi and sous chef and sommelier Marco Chiussi – focused on some pivotal dishes of Italian cuisine for a project that goes beyond music and cuisine. 

“Italian Classics” is an NFT collection consisting of 5 digital works that unite the sounds, tastes and aesthetics of the Italian culinary tradition. 

The selected dishes are lasagna al forno, spaghetti alla carbonara, risotto alla milanese, trenette al pesto and pappa al pomodoro. As always, Food Ensemble members sampled the sounds of the preparation of these dishes, which were then combined with 3D moving visuals and transformed into NFT. 

The project was developed together with Niftee, a “boutique platform for the art of the future” that, in addition to creating the collection, hosts the auction of NFTs of “Italian Classics” and was officially presented on Wednesday, April 6th, on the occasion of Carbonara Day, with a live performance.
