A tribute to the beauty of agriculture. This is the intention of Daan Roosegaarde with his latest spectacular installation entitled “GROW”.
“GROW” emphasizes the importance of innovation in the agricultural system: how can light design help plants grow more sustainably?
The answer to this complex question has been found by Daan Roosegaarde, who has managed to combine art and sustainability in a unique installation.
The installation consists of a huge beam of light shining vertically over 20,000 m2 of farmland. The beautiful lights reflecting off the vast agricultural field manage to improve plant growth and reduce pesticide use by up to 50%.
“GROW” may be good for nature, but at the same time, it is a light of hope that reaches straight to people.
It gives new meaning to the word “agri-culture” by redesigning the landscape as a living cultural work of art.
A unique installation that will win you over at the first second, get sucked into Daan Roosegaarde’s light.
