Jacob Hutchinson and the world seen through the window

The windows, no matter which side you look at them from, are a limit that our imagination enjoys overcoming. At least once in your life, your attention would have been captured by a light coming from a window and you would have liked to see something, no matter if it is a chandelier, a bookcase, a painting, an important thing is that it stimulates your imagination even more. The interior of a house or office has something magical seen through the glass. Even a landscape, the gentle line of the hills or the infinite shades of the sea when framed by a window seems like a real work of art. It is as if behind the glass we feel invisible, but also stimulated to look, even if only for a moment, at something that should be hidden from us. In Jacob Hutchinson‘s illustrations, on Instagram @byhutch, the window is a recurring subject and with full colors and few, but well-defined details it makes us feel like we have a real one in front of our eyes. To create this effect, realism is of shapes, landscapes, interiors, but above all light is fundamental.

In our gallery, you will find a selection of illustrations by Jacob Hutchinson.
