Last spring in the Tower of the Music Centre in Modena, five musicians from Emilia Romagna aged between 23 and 30 were the protagonists of the Linguaggi Comuni project, an artist’s residency completely focused on music, curated by To Lose La Track and in collaboration with Luna Malaguti. 

Accompanying the young people in this experience was none other than Andrea Mangia aka Populous, a producer and musician from Salento who was able to give the participants new tools, ideas and ideas. 

The entire experience was recounted by Paolo Polacchini both through a series of photographs and the documentary video that you can find below. 

Moreover, the intense week of the artist residency brought the youngsters not only to confront themselves personally with Populous, but also to work on a real EP, released on all digital platforms on 18 June 2021 and produced by To Lose La Track itself. 

Thanks to Populous’ expert direction, the boys’ diverse backgrounds, ranging from pop to math rock, songwriting to experimental music, come together perfectly in the album’s four tracks. Listen to the first album of the Linguaggi Comuni project below!
