Reagan Ray, designer of Texan origin, given the free time that more or less all of us have in this period, has decided to devote his latest research to the lettering of Marvel comics.
A complex work given the amount of comics available, the designer has focused on the ’80s and ’90s, then before the advent of digital lettering that he said has completely distorted and ruined the beauty of comics.

The Texan designer is famous for publishing on his blog anthology posts where he goes to resume and study the composition of logos or covers in general all the aesthetics, studying all the details enhancing the formal characteristics.
Reagan Ray is in fact famous for his research, over time he has made several as the lettering of Christmas records or the logos of the American railways, dwelling even on the movies.
There’s just too much out there. So I’ve decided to break it down into manageable chunks, starting with what I find to be the most popular – Marvel superheroes. These don’t include teams, duos, or villains. And obviously, nothing from DC.
