“Museum of the future”, the futuristic project by Killa Design

Starting from an innovative approach the architecture firm Killa Design has presented “Museum of the future” that will rise in the beautiful Dubai designed by Buro Happold.

The Museum of the Future aims to be a catalyst for pioneering concepts and ideas, inspiring those who see and visit the building to innovate, create and discover

The new museum will rise a few steps from the Burj Khalifa and is composed of three main elements: the hill, the building and finally the void.

The hill represents the earth, with its roots in place, time and history.
The building in which the museum will be located represents mankind, created to be in harmony with the surrounding environment.
Finally, the last element concerns the elliptical void of the structure that represents “unknown knowledge” or innovation.

The design and construction of the building began years ago, exactly in 2015, and as of today we are starting to see the results. The structure of the museum is composed of as many as 2,400 intersecting steel elements and was only completed and finished in November 2018.

While the façade cladding is currently being assembled, it’s still missing the final details but it’s nearly complete. And it won’t be an ordinary facade, the exterior of the building is entirely covered with windows that go to form a poem written in Arabic calligraphy by the ruler of Dubai about his vision for the future of the city.

Created with the goal of creating one of the “most advanced buildings in the world,” Buro Happold has delivered to the city of Dubai a dynamic and innovative 30,000 square meter structure built with the help of an algorithm.

In addition, in “Museum of the future” there will be entire floors dedicated to climate change where the museum will address the effect of global warming on ecosystems and the theme of solar energy collection in space.
A desire that confirms what we have written in the previous lines, which is to be something more than just a museum, looking exclusively to the future.
