We are witnessing the first collaboration between PUMA and Aries, and what we see is nothing less than the union of PUMA’s heritage on one side and Aries’ unmistakable graphics on the other. The result is a composite vision of racing influences and a kitsch aesthetic, blending modern and nostalgic references. The collection is genderless and stands out not only for its graphic design but also for its experimental knitwear, which, along with double nylon garments, pairs with a handcrafted selection of accessories and footwear. Notably, this includes Aries’ reinterpretation of the iconic PUMA Mostro (which we’ve already discussed here).

The collaboration capsule includes a moto-mesh long sleeve tee featuring a selection of graphics clearly signed by Aries, as well as a knitted cardigan printed with a unique digital print. The lace-knit tight tee is inspired by the world of cycling and is made with an original jacquard knit, while the garment-washed oversized tee features a bold PUMA graphic with an airbrushed design that echoes Aries’ branding with ancient mythology. The water-repellent nylon lightweight jacket and lightweight pants also feature a digital print with a PUMA graphic depicting an X-ray skeleton. Playing with kitsch codes, accessories like the PUMA x Aries Cap and the Mini Grip Bag also evoke the aesthetic of ’80s and ’90s malls.

As mentioned above, the star of this collaboration is definitely the PUMA Mostro alongside the iconic Suede. The Mostro is reworked with a mix of mesh, neoprene, and suede on the upper. Aries’ version of the Mostro features an elastic closure with an adjustable toggle on the back. The Suede, on the other hand, comes with a rubber mudguard, a leather toecap, and special graphics on the heel and tongue.

The campaign was shot by Mark Luckasavage, who envisioned spectral and filtered imagery through portraits and more spontaneous shots, creating the impression of a daydream contaminated to fully reflect the spirit of the collaboration.
