Indaco (2022) and Seitu (2021) are Quasirosso’s latest publications, where with his refined and evocative style, he tells stories from everyday life, communicating emotions that go beyond the surface. Esposito encapsulates his stories in a parallel dimension, playing with reality and fantasy, giving voice to sensations that are sometimes difficult to explain. In Indaco, the stories of six characters intertwine as they search for God, traveling in a small van, while in Seitu, Quasirosso tells the story of an incompletely lived love.
Melancholy is a pervasive and vital element that permeates Giovanni Esposito’s illustrations. It serves as a poignant undertone, infusing his work with depth and introspection. Esposito consistently infuses his personal experiences, emotions, and reflections into the stories he tells and the art he creates. His illustrations become an intimate expression of his inner world, capturing the complexities and nuances of the human experience.
