Saman K. Nevis is a 33-year-old Iranian photographer whose work explores the delicate interplay between humanity and urban landscapes. With a passion for visual storytelling, Saman’s lens captures truly intense moments that resonate universally, from roadside reflections to the most intimate portraits.

His photographic journey began at the age of 22, when she purchased his first camera, driven by an unconscious—at the time—attraction to cinema. As he explains, films have profoundly shaped his perspective, fueling his creative passion. «One day, the need to create images took hold of me, and since then, I’ve been chasing moments through the lens,» Saman recounts.

His favorite genres—street photography and portraiture—reflect her deep fascination with human expression and the beauty of the everyday. In his words:

“Whether it’s a girl listening to music on the street or an elderly woman engrossed in her newspaper, I strive to capture the essence of those small but significant moments.”

Living in Iran has profoundly shaped his art, presenting challenges that have pushed her to grow. These experiences have inspired him to travel beyond her country’s borders, documenting diverse cultures while maintaining an unbreakable bond with her roots.

A devotee of analog photography, Saman appreciates its authenticity and depth, though he skillfully combines it with digital techniques. This duality allows him to explore various subjects, from emotionally charged portraits to the captivating lines of architectural forms and the vintage charm of classic cars.

Saman’s images remind us of the extraordinary beauty hidden in ordinary moments. Her art transcends borders, speaking of universal truths while celebrating the richness of human life.
