It doesn’t take much to dive into the DIY world of zines, between paper and graphic design. On Tuesday, July 22 and Wednesday, July 23, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with a lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM), Collater.al – in collaboration with IED and Hero Battle Cup – will host Scannerzine – Zine Creation Workshop, a workshop designed for those who want to experiment with creating an A6 zine using images collected with portable scanners and smartphones.
Scannerzine will be a hands-on and collective journey that moves from visual collection to binding, passing through digital layout. Leading the workshop will be Sebastiano, a member of the Libri Finti Clandestini team – an independent editorial collective that has been operating for years on the fringes of traditional publishing, creating books and zines from recycled materials and urban fragments.
To participate, a laptop and basic knowledge of layout and post-production software like Adobe or similar is required. Here is the link to register.
