Louise Nissen is the Danish designer who has imagined a new future for an abandoned lido on the British coast. Sea Sanctuary is the name of the project that would become a therapeutic center, offer the possibility to live in a cleaner environment and become a smart solution to the respiratory problems of Londoners, because of the pollution of that area.
In the past people who suffered from respiratory problems were advised to go to the sea, where the salty air has beneficial effects on the body, quickly clearing the airways.
Sea Sanctuary is located in the Kent region, 90 minutes from London and on the ancient Clifton Baths, with the aim of becoming a healing center where seawater and the natural resources that thrive abundantly in the surrounding area can ensure its healing success.
Louise has created illustrations in which her project comes to life, through frontal views of a series of modern, bright rooms from which you can watch the sea.
