Some of us are starting the fourth week of quarantine, others have even lost count of the days. Slowly we are trying to get used to this new situation, knowing that it will last longer than we hoped, but with the confidence that sooner or later it will end.

Probably in this period we have discovered something new about ourselves and surely we have had the proof that some things we thought indispensable to our life are not so much. Nevertheless, despite all the tricks we create to kill time, the desire to get out is always great. The desire to walk down that sidewalk that we keep staring at from the window, the desire to go to a park, to walk on the beach or to get lost in the woods.
To heal our need to go somewhere, anywhere, we are helped by Sovrappensiero Design Studio with the project Stay at home and go somewhere.
Founded by Lorenzo De Rosa and Ernesto Iadevaia, since 2007 Sovrappensiero Design Studio has amazed us with its works that merge experimental research and industrial production, rightly carving out a place in the world of Italian design.
Stay at home and go somewhere is slightly different from their usual works, being an augmented reality project that will allow you to suddenly find yourself in unexpected places from the comfort of your own home.
The rules are simple: you have to print the portal created by Sovrappensiero Design Studio, which you can find below or on their Instagram profile, and browse it through the ARTIVIVE app, available both for Android and iOs. Every day you will find yourself in a different place, where you can stay for a few seconds or enjoy a slightly longer break. Ready to travel a bit?
