I don’t know what happened in your house when you dropped liquids on the floor, but in mine, because of several carpets, running was the only solution.

Fortunately, as always, art comes to help us, even if childhood is over and those liquids are not anymore an affront towards the patience of our parents, but an occasion to be creative. The Chicago artist Jeffrey Michael Austin, in his series Strange Mess, manipulates artistically puddles and similar subjects of his photographs in mirrors for the sky, clouds and sometimes real galaxies.

The dirt from the ordinary life becomes a creative food for thought, giving a cosmic shake to our routine.
