I chose this video not because it tells a breathtaking story, nor because it has a moral, but because it highlights how much music linked to an image acquires a different meaning, a new one. Sonaria was born from the collaboration between Chromosphere, an animation and design studio, and the Google Spotlight Stories team and is a magnificent example of a perfect stratify of image and sound.
For just over a minute we follow two figures moving in space, changing and transforming and while the images simply suggest something to us, the real narrative is left to notes and noises.
As in a real theatre show, all the elements merge, from the shapes to the colours, creating something special, something aesthetically beautiful.
