Sixty years after its birth, the Vans Authentic — the California brand‘s iconic silhouette — returns to the spotlight with a new chapter of the global Off The Wall campaign. A declaration of belonging for anyone who sees themselves in the aesthetic and history of a brand that helped shape skate culture.

Born in 1966 as a simple deck shoe, the Authentic was quickly claimed by California’s skaters, growing over time into something far bigger: a symbol for artists, outsiders, creatives, and anyone who moves outside the lines. A shoe that never chased approval, because its audience never needed it. In 2026, marking the model’s sixtieth anniversary, Vans celebrates this journey with a campaign built around four protagonists who each embody the Off The Wall spirit in their own way.

The four faces are rapper and producer Feng, singer-songwriter and artist Ecca Vandal, surfer Mikey February, and skateboarder Ruby Lilley. Different disciplines, different backgrounds, different attitudes — but one shared instinct: to make their own noise, without waiting for anyone to open the door. Each brings their own visual and cultural language to the campaign, helping redefine what it means to live Off The Wall today.

Running through it all is the Authentic itself, available in the Mohair and Duck Canvas versions of the Off The Wall pack, now on sale at Vans retail locations and at vans.com.
