A classic and timeless collection just presented by Vault by Vans in collaboration with Baracuta. The two brands have combined their know-how and have created an exclusive collection that includes clothing and footwear: Vault by Vans x Baracuta.
Baracuta has become famous worldwide as the brand that created in 1937 the iconic G9 jacket, designed for the golf course and known as Swing Jacket, as well as Vans which represents a true classic that never goes out of fashion and that wanted to pay tribute to the logo and iconic prints of the British brand.
In 1938 the representative of the Fraser Clan gave the Miller brothers, the founders of Baracuta, the possibility to use the Fraser Tartan for the lining of the jacket, which is still used today in the whole Baracuta line and which also characterizes the collaboration Vault by Vans x Baracuta.
The sneakers collection is composed of the Old Skool VLT LX that overlaps the Vans side stripe and checkerboard fantasy with the iconic Fraser Tartan plaid; the Sk8-Hi VLT LX is a tribute to the roots of Baracuta’s outerwear with a cargo pocket on the side; the Slip-On VLT LX uses the original Baracuta logo on the embossed checkerboard print.
As far as clothing is concerned, Vault by Vans x Baracuta introduces the classic Chore Coat in blue and burgundy; a plaid shirt in woven tartan and a navy blue polo shirt with small embroidery on the chest and a personalized Fraser Tartan checkerboard pattern on the back.
The Vault by Vans x Baracuta collection will be available at selected Vault by Vans retailers from December 5th.
