Vinilica n°19, third appointment with the new season of this column born more than six years ago. To celebrate this unbirthday we invited Alberto Albi Scotti, DJ Mag Italia journalist and in charge for the web magazine content. Albi is a music fan at 360°, and he has created a mixtape worthy of High Fidelity, perfectly balanced track after track, following unwritten rules that every great passionate handed down from more than 30 years: you have to star catching attention; at the same level put the second track and then… then you have to click play and listen to it.

“Quando gli amici di Collater.al mi hanno chiesto una playlist non sapevano quanto mi fa godere fare le playlist. Io passerei venti ore al giorno a fare playlist. Mi sono messo a pensare a cosa mettere qui dentro e alcuni input mi sono scattati subito in quell’impulso che dal cuore arriva al cervello. Poi da lì ci ho costruito intorno il resto. Mi rendo conto che il mood è piuttosto autunnale, del resto siamo in autunno e mi sembra che ci sia una logica. Una playlist dev’essere un piacere da ascoltare, non la coda di pavone di quanto siamo sul pezzo con le novità. Quindi senza troppe menate ci ho messo dentro Coma Cose e Miley Cyrus, Telefon Tel Aviv e Gomez, Style Council e Giorgia Angiuli, Blur e Not For Us. In chiusura due di quei pezzi che mi fanno piangere per purezza e intensità: Elliott Smith e ‘Bad’ degli U2. Buon ascolto.“
