Alvin Lamar Worthy, better known as Westside Gunn, has shared some exclusive details on Instagram about what is rumored to be a collaboration with Saucony, revealing a preview of the Progrid Omni 9 and Progrid Triumph 4 designed by the American rapper and producer. Westside Gunn is also known for founding Griselda, a hip-hop production house that is not exactly mainstream, which has become a niche reality by experimenting with sampling.

Unlike traditional announcements that are usually launched with specially crafted teasers, Westside Gunn showcases the behind-the-scenes of collaborations of this caliber through his raw and authentic lens. In his videos, we’ve seen the Saucony design team showing him materials and specifications for sneaker construction. We can also see technical documents of the shoes on X.

Both of his versions of the Progrid Omni 9 and Progrid Triumph 4 feature interesting colors: the Progrid Omni 9 boasts a red upper with a white and lime sole, while the Progrid Triumph 4 appears to be considerably more colorful. Additionally, a new logo has been revealed, combining Saucony’s classic wave pattern with the name of his label, Griselda, written in the brand’s distinctive font.

Information regarding the release date has not yet been disclosed, but we expect the launch at any moment, hoping to be able to purchase them from Italy as well.
