City names become song titles in the World Song Map

Music has always had a particular connection with the place where it was born, composed or performed. Thousands of songs tell of places, cities or landscapes. The English studio Dorothy has decided to give more than 1000 songs a geographical location by creating the World Song Map of the planispheres in which the names of cities, rivers, plains, mountains are magically replaced by the titles of some of the best-known songs.

So in America, we find Bruce Springsteen with Born in the U.S.A., Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd or California Girls. On the other side of the ocean, we come across Back in the URRS by The Beatles and China Girl by Bowie. Finally, we arrive in Europe with London Calling and Trans Europe Express. These are just some of the thousands of titles you can find on the World Song Map that you can buy on the Dorothy website. If, on the other hand, you only love American music, don’t worry, the U.S.A. Song Map could be for you.
