It was the ’73s farewell party for Ziggy Stardust, one of David Bowie‘s alter egos, at Hotel Café Royal in London. Ziggy’s, 45 years later, opens exactly in the same place and proposes to be a cocktail bar entirely dedicated to The Thin White Duke.

On the walls of the bar, there are images by photographer Mick Rock, who took photos of this famous party to which were also invited Lou Reed, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, and Barbra Streisand. In the menu, we find Bowie’s favorite drinks, inspired by The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars album, such as “Tigers of Vaseline” which owes its name from Hang On To Yourself.

Ziggy’s still before its inauguration, which will take place on September 20 at the Hotel Cafe Royal, is already proposed as a place of worship for all the artist’s fans.
