EL MAC alias Miles MacGregor is a renowned artist based in Los Angeles who began painting both indoors and outdoors since the mid-90s, a period in which he developed his unique and original style, distinguished by the use frequency of patterns. His work has undergone various influences such as that from classical European art, social realism, symbolism, and devotional art until he approaches the Mexicana culture in which he grew up.

The artist is best known for his meticulous paintings and large-scale murals that explore the female beauty and honor ordinary, neglected or marginalized people and for over twenty years has aimed “to elevate and inspire through a careful and perfectionist representation of both sublime both of the humble”.
The colors and finishes tell the reality with realism, without losing their underground spirit.
