The dualism in the collection 2 Moncler 1952 woman by Veronica Leoni

Moncler presented the 2 Moncler 1952 women’s collection created by Veronica Leoni in a creation process in which progressive thinking and sensitivity in the construction of clothes are perfectly balanced.
The concept from which her work starts is transformed into practicality in the final result and is marked by a light-heartedness in which it is clear that the collection is dominated by opposites.

In a perfect snapshot of the moment in which we live, Veronica Leoni moves between the need to be reassured and the instinct to escape, in a constant discovery of the beauty that is hidden in the personal conflict and in the continuous opposition between the feeling of security and the desire to escape.

This dualism is the basis on which the entire collection is founded, but is still anchored to the authentic values of Moncler despite the aesthetic codes of the brand are reversed and brought to a new image: feminine, concrete, vital, brave and free.

The femininity of the 1950s is alternated with contemporary dynamism: jacket cinched at the waist over a wide skirt reflecting a personal, layered look that expresses individuality through an unconventional invitation.

The down jackets are both long and short and are declined in different fabrics, the knitwear is balanced between relaxation and materials. The game and the mix of materials is another peculiar element of Veronica, expressed through a fascinating game of tactile contrasts: the iconic nylons of Moncler – laqué, longue saison, froissé and ultra-light sheer rip-stop, renewed in a sustainable version – the super curly teddy, felted wool, light masculine grisaille, technical silk and fluid viscose. The color palette used is the classic one made up of blacks and neutrals but brightened by touches of gold and silver and made warmer by orange and rust notes.

In keeping with Moncler’s commitment to a sustainable future and Veronica’s sensitivity to the environment and to creating responsible garments, the 2 Moncler 1952 women’s collection features sustainable pieces. These include a number of jackets, dresses, pants and vests made from materials with less environmental impact than conventional materials, such as recycled nylon and polyester and organic cotton, as well as buttons and zippers made from brass and recycled metals.
