The title of Richard Keeling‘s series of illustrations is Presence, but don’t expect to see hordes of people or crowded places.

Richard Keeling’s idea is a real challenge, to tell the story of man’s presence through his absence. Each illustration presents a small clue to the proximity of men, such as a cigarette resting on an ashtray, a steaming cup or a sounding alarm clock. All elements that make us think that within a few centimeters there is someone who is going to smoke, to drink a coffee or to wake up.

People are there, but out of frame, out of what Richard decides to show us.

Remove to show, but also to make the color the real protagonist of the series. The palette used has bright and bright colors, which goes perfectly with the almost abstract cut of the works.
