Twin Islands, a beautiful modern fairy tale.
If in a double kingdom there are two kings, but only one heir is born, maintaining the status quo can be a problem. This is the beginning of Twin Islands, a magnificent animated short film by Manon Sailly, Lara Cochetel, Raphaël Huot, Christine Jaudoin, Charlotte Sarfati and Fanny Teisson, students of the French school Supinfocom.
The short film could be defined as a modern fairy tale, with all the elements of the genre, all except one: the happy ending. That’s why I suggest you look at it to the end, maybe at the beginning, it will seem cynical, but probably it’s a vision that reflects our time and our modernity.
