The young American photographer Grace Ahlbom produced a video for Acne Studios to celebrate the sneakers of the Fall/Winter 2018 collection.
For this new collection, Acne Studios is inspired by the American urban style of the 90s, introducing new styles and colors.

Even the video, thanks to the VHS filming that has always fascinated Grace Ahlbom, seems to have come straight out of the 90s. The real protagonists are the Manhattan sneakers, introduced for the first time in the Fall/Winter 2017 collection, shooting in their natural habitat, the streets of New York, starting from the courtyards of the school where Grace started shooting her first videos, passing for the set where Spike Lee directed Do the Right Thing, ending at Tompkins Square Park.
“Shoes are the first thing I look at when meeting someone. I can always tell someone’s personality from their shoes.”
All the models of the Fall/Winter 2018 collection, from those with Drihanna and Adriana platforms, to the Batilda and Tristan snockers, from the Steffey and Perey to the lace variations of the Manhattan and the Rockaway are available on acnestudios.com
