On Saturday 17 in Rome, Foot Locker – the world’s leading retailer of sneakers and sportswear – and Kickit – one of the most popular street culture events in Italy – presented Digital Days, a series of streetwear community events featuring 3D printing of sneakers, street art exhibitions, basketball tournaments and more.

The Digital Days presentation was staged last Saturday, and we at Collater.al were there.
At the Foot Locker store on Via del Corso 475 in Rome, the intersections between digital communities and the streetwear world were celebrated, including through an immersive virtual experience that was offered to guests. The event also launched Kickit and @artshot_snkrs NFT, and was accompanied by music by emerging artist @vivianaedera.

The first Digital Days main event will be held Sept. 25 at the Pratibus District, a 3,000-plus-square-foot location right in the heart of Rome. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the event will feature talks on contemporary culture from the likes of SoftwareBoy, Mattias Gollin Mattias Gollin of Ral7000 studio, Nike Air masters, and developers of Footlocker’s metaverse.
In the coming months, Foot Locker and Kickit will organize more events involving the streetwear communities of Milan, Florence, Bari and Naples.

In the workshop area, visitors will have the opportunity to customize their own sneakers, learn how to embroider a rug and watch a live painting performance. In addition to all this, guests who attend will be able to discover the amazing street art exhibits, watch basketball tournaments and enjoy the skate parks.
A private area dedicated to the virtual world will also be available, featuring augmented reality experiences and 3D sneaker printing demonstrations, made possible thanks to 3dMiniLab printing equipment.
Foot Locker and Kickit look forward to seeing you on Sunday, September 25 at the Pratibus District to continue celebrating Digital Days!
