When two profoundly technical worlds — the sport performance of New Balance and the material experimentation of Stone Island — meet, something beyond a simple collaboration happens. The new Furon V8 signed by both brands is an exercise in fusion: an essential, monochrome design meeting high-function engineering, built for speed and precision on the pitch.

The Hypoknit upper is paired with a matte polyurethane film and enriched with a ripstop texture with a camouflage effect and 3D-printed logos — a clear nod to the material research that has always distinguished Stone Island. Every surface is engineered for a perfect balance between aesthetics and performance. From a technical standpoint, the Furon V8 introduces a new “Speed Ctrl Stud” configuration designed to ensure stability during changes of direction and explosive movements. The asymmetric lacing contributes to a more secure fit and frees up the contact zone for a cleaner touch.

The sole features a “split finish” effect, with a matte forefoot and a reflective heel that recalls Stone Island’s signature material experimentation. The low-profile collar, woven with reflective yarns and two raised bands, echoes the brand’s visual codes, lending the silhouette a technical yet refined character.

The collaboration doesn’t stop at the Furon V8: it also includes a full football kit — jersey, shorts and socks — made in polyester jacquard with mesh inserts, ripstop logos and reflective details. A natural extension of the boot’s design language, where every element is conceived to blend performance and style.

The monochrome palette, in neutral and earthy tones, amplifies the design’s visual impact while keeping it discreet and recognizable. Shot by Dexter Navy, the campaign captures that exact instant of tension before the action: the essence of a project that turns technique into art, and speed into an aesthetic that captivates us.
