Stateless by David Mesguich
Stateless is the name of the politically motivated sculptures created for Europe by French artist David Mesguich.
“In an obsessional way, David travels cities and develops an atypical mapping by focusing his interest for all which, in those spaces of passage separates and divides up.”
Colored plastic installation with an adamant meaning, so much stronger than the material from which they are made.
David Mesguich, a street artist and globetrotter, makes large installations that leaves where everyone can see them, in the public spaces of countries like France, Belgium and Poland. Huge installations that are designed to shake the social consciousness, as in the case of his latest project “Stateless“, a series where the protagonists are migrants who fight against the borders and the Holy Europe watching from the sideline.
