To mark the Chinese New Year, Moiré Gallery Milano is hosting Sinuosa, an exhibition that explores the artistic language of Zhao Zihan, a young Chinese talent whose works are defined by soft, sinuous, and organic lines.
Opening today, January 23, the exhibition celebrates the Year of the Snake, the symbol for 2025 in the Chinese zodiac, with creations that blend tradition and innovation. Zhao Zihan employs cutting-edge techniques and sustainable materials to explore concepts of adaptation and transformation, inviting viewers to reflect on natural beauty and the future of design. The exhibition features works such as the Free Growing table and stool, the Nubi Chair Ink Line, the Jellyfish Lamp, the Unknown Container (or Mood Vase), and the Simula Vase.
Zhao Zihan, a graduate of the Brera Academy, is the founder of the creative space Z art studio and the brand UNICOGGETTO. His impressive résumé includes appearances at Milan Design Week’s Fuorisalone and prestigious fairs in China, such as Design Shanghai and the Xintiandi Art Festival, cementing his reputation on the international design stage.

“With Sinuosa, we aim to highlight the elegance and depth of Zihan’s design, which merges contemporary sensitivity with cultural roots,” says Ouafa Lotfi Tahoun, the gallery’s curator. In short, this is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Zhao Zihan’s world, on display until February 28 at the atmospheric Moiré Gallery in Milan.
