Weird Side Projects, the misleading road signs by April Soetarman

Artist April Soetarman has created some modified road signs that have immediately become viral. If you were an ignorant passer-by, would you notice them?

The designer and artist April Soetarman has created a series of “modified” street signs in her hometown of Seattle. This practice has become a way to diversify his art, which in the past had focused more on architecture. After making the work “NOTICE: I Never Stopped Loving You. Hope You’re Well”, her work has become viral.

And that’s how the whole corpus of work called Weird Side Projects was born, where other signs have been added, such as “ATTENTION: You Are Wonderful and Deserve Every Happiness” which has been a huge success. the conceptual proposal by Johan Deckmann, also April plays with meaning and signifier with irony.
