Among Gufram’s brand products, one of the most symbolic is the CACTUS®, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary since it was designed by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello.
On the occasion of Design Miami/ (Nov. 30-Dec. 4, 2022) the brand collaborated with A$AP Rocky, planetary artist, rapper and style icon, who together with his new interior design studio HOMMEMADE revisited the CACTUS®.
The Shroom CACTUS® adds an undergrowth of hand-painted mushrooms growing directly from the trunk to the 1972 version, as well as a new and unprecedented green color. The silhouette of the original product, known to the Harlem-based artist as a well-known collector of design pieces and admirer of Gufram, remains clear.
Shroom CACTUS® was launched as a limited edition at the Miami fair.
