When the subject you decide to photograph is in itself a work of art, no further decorative elements are needed. This is exactly what happens in Chiara Lombardi‘s photographs that show the beauty of the bodies in all their authenticity. 

One can say that the passion for photography has always been part of Chiara’s vote, ever since she was still very young, looking with her eyes for something to capture in an indelible way. This curiosity has accompanied her over the years, leading her to undertake a course of study focused on art, first at the RUFA Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and then at the Albertina Academy in Turin. 

Today Chiara Lombardi specializes in nude photographs: the veilless bodies of the girls she takes are transformed into ethereal sculptures, our gaze is captured by the lines of the backs bending over themselves, the imperfections of the skin, the contrast between the body and the environment in which it is immersed. 

Images that give us the sensation of looking at something forbidden, a hidden intimacy, stolen and perhaps for this very reason we cannot stop looking at them.
