GDCS and Barilla collaborated for an out-of-the-box capsule collection

If it is true that we are used to seeing everything on the catwalks, it is also true that every season something always manages to surprise us.
This is the case of the capsule collection born from the collaboration between GCDS and Barilla, for which the creative director Giuliano Calza did not want to use half-measures.
Between provocative, captivating, sensual and at times dramatic looks, between ’90s inspirations, cinema noir and mystery, a brave hoodie and a bright fuchsia beanie with the Barilla logo came out on display.

“When Barilla came to us to ask how we could collaborate, I instantly imagined the box and the color fuchsia, the color I introduced into my streetwear collection when I first started”, Giuliano Calza stated. “Back when it was all black and white… Today family is not only what you are born into: it is whom you choose, whom you grow with through experiences. So I put this fuchsia box of pasta on the table and ask everyone to enjoy it out of box, with their loved ones.”

The capsule collection created by GCDS for the Italian food giant will be on sale with the fall-winter 2019/20.
