Lan Truong is a Brooklyn illustrator and graphic designer with a charismatic, colorful and naïve touch. Each of her works is characterized by bright colors, sharp and sinuous lines. The world represented by Lan is unequivocally influenced by the feminine sensibility and a kind of naive mood: her personality is unique, like her illustrations. She is inspired by John Alcorn, Naiad, Walter Einsel, Joan Cornellá and also Eleanor Davis, defining their works as follows:
“When they show up for children’s coloring books, they are like books, and they are all about the internet.”
She has made works of all kinds ranging from newspapers, books, magazines and comes to the creation of logos. Initially, Lan worked in a graphic design studio, but soon became widely requested as illustrator.
“I started to work out in the summer of 2015, and I wanted to feel more”. I was ready for a change. “
The success was so overwhelming that she decided to abandon the study of graphics to pursue her career as a free artist … we can just agree with her.
