“Louis Vuitton Bike”, this is the name of the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Maison TAMBOITE, a company founded in 1912 and based in Paris that deals with the handcrafted production of bicycles.
The result of this partnership are two bicycle models that derive directly from what are the historical roots of both maisons, the processing of leather by Louis Vuitton and wood by Maison TAMBOITE.
The models in question, available in a variety of colors such as yellow, red, blue and brown, are: the “Closed Frame”, which features the iconic monogram on the leather, a contrasting paint job on the edges of the handles and a luggage rack on the back; while the “Step-Through” sees the entire frame decorated with the Vuitton logo and a front basket.
In describing the collaboration Louis Vuitton stated: “The bicycles are a symbol of French craftsmanship and Parisian chic”.
Both models cost around £20,000, if you want to take a look at all the colorways you can do so on the maison’s website.
