The collaboration between Prada and adidas Originals.
After having launched on the market the first silhouette resulting from the partnership, a classic Superstar characterized by co-branding and in total white, we have the opportunity to preview the new Prada x adidas Originals sneakers.

The U.S. designer and founder of the vintage shop Round Two, Sean Wotherspoon, who in January 2020 began his collaboration with the German sportswear giant with whom he created a sustainable version of adidas Superstar, has published on his Instagram account a series of photos and a video where skating wearing the new sneakers resulting from the collaboration between Prada and adidas Originals.

The silhouette seems to draw inspiration from the shapes of the Italian fashion house’s archival sneakers like the Prada America’s Cup at the beginning of the millennium, using the latest generation and sustainable materials.

Completely white and with silver grafts, the upper is formed by a mix of TPE and mesh giving the sneaker the ghost effect. The Three Stripes logo is “hidden” under the quarter panel, the rubber reinforcements on the toe and heel stand out while the intersole seems to be characterized by the BOOST system.

The detail that captures the most attention is certainly the Prada Linea Rossa logo along the heel.

There’s not yet a release date for this new collaboration between Prada and adidas Originals but it’s plausible that news in this sense could come close.
In the meantime here below you can take a look at the video made by Sean Wotherspoon.
