Palace Skateboards pays tribute to the Happy Mondays

Andrea Tuzio

Palace has just presented a new capsule collection in collaboration with the British rock band Happy Mondays.

A group formed in the city of Salford in 1980, the Happy Mondays were the leading exponents of the alternative scene, the first to blend rock music with dance and act as a bridge between rock and rave scene, as well as true ambassadors of Madchester, together with the Stone Roses.

To highlight their key role in British music history, Palace worked closely with the band to create a capsule collection that would pay tribute to the band and their legacy.

Among the items of the collection stands out a long-sleeved shirt with an all-over print of an image from the 1990 “Step On” video, then we find two T-shirts in different colors, a harrigton jacket all-over print and a matching bucket hat.

The Happy Mondays x Palace capsule collection will be released on September 18th in the Palace physical stores and online.
