After the exclusive skateboard collation by Yayoi Kusama, the British retailer Browns has created a collection of lifestyle items and accessories inspired by Peanuts. The “Charlie Brown & Snoopy-centric” project includes Huf skateboard, the Pintrill tote bag, Corkcicle water bottles, and Denik notepad.

All the pieces feature the classic Peanuts characters, illustrated by the likes of André Saraiva, Mr. A, Nina Chanel Abney, Tomokazu Matsuyama, Kenny Scharf, and FriendsWithYou. In the next few days, we will know a lot more about new collaborations, including those that look like Bamford watches, Herschel backpacks, and Champion sweatshirts.

Find everything on Brownsfashion.com.

Pastel Rita Cafe by Appareil Architecture is a triumph of colors

Pastel Rita Cafe by Appareil Architecture is a triumph of colors

Claudia Fuggetti · 5 years ago · Design

Appareil Architecture studio revolutionized the creative district of Mile End, in Montreal, where an empty building was transformed into a workshop of artists, the “Pastel Rita Cafe”. Each space of the structure is organized in several areas differentiated by different colors in pastel tones and includes a café and a bar, an artists’ workshop and a boutique, which displays their creations. The study stated that:

Space has been conceived in realizing the needs and the personality of its users, as well as satisfying the commercial intent. The pastel colors blend perfectly with the cultural context and the atmosphere of the quarter, pale pink aims to create an intimacy in the sitting area, dark green defines the coffee area, generating a contrast that gives personality. Finally, the gold color, which enhances the environment, making it a little bit too.

Visit the Pastel Rita Cafe website, which you find here.

Chantli Kuaulakoyokan, the transparent house built on a tree

Chantli Kuaulakoyokan, the transparent house built on a tree

Giulia Guido · 5 years ago · Design

Forget about the classic tree house made of wood. Architect Gerardo Brossin has revolutionized entirely the classic idea of the shelter built between branches and leaves. Chantli Kuaulakoyokan, or treetop house in Nahuatl, the indigenous Mexican language, is a transparent house built entirely of glass.

Instead of the classic ladder, to reach the house you Broissin you can use a comfortable glass ladder.  Once inside the look is free, between it and the surrounding nature there is no obstacle.

Gerardo Broissin created Chantli Kuaulakoyokan for the Mexico City Design Week.  This project carries a double message. First of all, the replacement of warm wood with cold windows symbolizes the transition from childhood to adulthood. Secondly, Gerardo was also inspired by Diego Luna’s play Privacidad, which criticizes the privacy that social networks and the Internet promise. In fact, the first thing we think about when we look at the house is privacy, which is absent in a house like this.

All for the Gram – iamtimgray

All for the Gram – iamtimgray

Giulia Guido · 5 years ago · Design

If you find a giant dinosaur that seems to come out of the screen, a spider that walks on your smartphone or a zombie that comes straight to you, don’t worry, it’s Tim Gray‘s work.

Tim lives in London, where he works as a motion graphic designer creating beautiful videos inspired by elements of pop culture, from movies to video games.

In his free time, he lets off his creativity, which seems to never end, making his Instagram profile a real gallery of 3D works. Here, too, we find his love for pop culture, with explicit references to Jurassic Park, Star Wars and Back to the Future.

They are very short videos that will make your eyes shine, that you will look at and watch endlessly to understand where the makeup is hidden. It would be nice if Instagram added a feature that literally takes our photos off the screen. While you wait, enjoy Tim’s masterpieces.
