A new “Pier Park” for the city of New York. !melk Architects presented the new project for the Hudson River, called “Pier 97”, to establish a popular and memorable destination for the community.

Currently, the Pier is still under development, the park is expected to begin construction in February 2021 and its opening is scheduled for March 2024.

The goal is to provide the city with a new, fully utilized and activated space, integrated with both the adjacent park sections and New York’s 9th Avenue.

A space that is accessible to everyone, from pedestrians to cyclists, where to take a break and watch the sunset in front of the famous American river.
