On Thursday, June 15, was unveiled to a crowded public the livery of the Porsche 718 Boxster who won the competition called by the Porsche Milano Center and the New Academy of Fine Arts (NABA). The workshop tested over forty teams formed by Graphic Design and Art Direction students, who had been asked to vent their imagination by taking back the psychedelic colors of the 356 Cabriolet that singer Janis Joplin had painted by Dave Richards.

The win went to the students Marradi, Anselmini and Anese who produced a fresh bodywork, an elegant mix of warm tones and summer-day colors between day and night.

Porsche’s briefing was titled “Stories of Milan” and included cultural, musical and visual inspirations from the 1960s.

The winning livery has the Milan Duomo on the front bonnet and is enriched with a well-balanced mix between vector design, free hand (on the graphic tablet, ndr) and graphic design. Among the more particular details the exterior mirrors with the paint appearing on the side, or the fascinating graphics that decorate the rear bonnet inspired by a romantic and dreamy starry sky.

The car will start a tour in the popular seaside resorts after visiting the Atelier Porsche in via della Spiga, in the center of Milan.
