The PUMA Speedcat, a historic silhouette that has left its mark on the world of sports footwear, returns today with two new archive-inspired colorways, celebrating a glorious past while reinventing itself for the present. Starting October 16, the new versions will be available in Light Blue/Navy and Haute Coffee/Frosted Ivory. The latest iteration of the Speedcat continues to dominate the contemporary zeitgeist with its luxurious suede finish, complemented by iconic details such as the logo on the tongue, the Formstrip, and the embroidered cat on the toe.

Born for the fastest sport in the world, the Speedcat established its legacy in the world of Formula 1™. However, today, it also plays a leading role in the streetwear scene, thanks to a new campaign set in the Badlands — in collaboration with NAKED Copenhagen. Here, the sneaker culture’s status quo is challenged, with stylist and creative Sierra Rena returning as the muse, embodying powerful and innovative feminine energy.

These new colorways follow the success of the black and red Speedcat models launched in June, inspired by the uniforms of legendary F1 teams. Created in 1999 as an evolution of the fireproof footwear worn by drivers in the ’80s and ’90s, the lifestyle version of the Speedcat has moved beyond the adrenaline-filled world of racing to become a street-style icon. Today, with its modern look and a rich history, the Speedcat strikes the perfect balance between performance and style.
