Eight young photographers (and IED students) have decided to rewrite and narrate the cycles of production and consumption, overturned by the transformation brought about by the circular economy. In collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, this project also involves four very different Italian companies engaged in this revolution. The works of the eight young people who have recently graduated from IED in photography will be on display until May 31 in the spaces of the production company and magazine C41 in Via dell’Innovazione, 3. The installation is curated by Marcello Maranzan.

RETHINK was thus created as a place of thought, a real platform made for the exchange of new ideas on issues that matter in today’s world. The students, in this context, test their ability to bring innovation-strong with a lively gaze that looks to the future but at the same time supported in their authorship.

The theme of circularity comes into this context by taking its cue from the work conducted on by Luca Locatelli and exhibited in The Circle. Workshops for a Circular Future last April at IED. The realities that have joined the RETHINK project are: Babaco Market (narrated through the images of Caterina Colapietro and Lisa Hampe), COIMA (through the photographs of Giorgia Architetti and Sarah Indriolo), Novamont (shot by Annalisa Doriguzzi Breatta and Eleonora Villa) and finally Ri-generation (narrated through the shots of Nicola Biscaro and Giulia Pirri).
