There is no true “outside” when it comes to the ecological system—environment is not a separate backdrop but a complex network where culture, technology, and economy are intertwined. Every resource consumed and every waste produced contribute to a dynamic equilibrium. Theorist Timothy Morton speaks of a “network without center or margin,” redefining the boundaries between the human and natural worlds. ROA explores this interconnectedness in its SS25 collection, merging functionality with material research to create garments and accessories that challenge the notion of “outdoors” and redefine the relationship with the landscape.

Earthy tones such as olive, brown, and sand characterize the clothing, footwear, and accessories. Lightweight yet insulating fabrics adapt to relaxed silhouettes, featuring seamless shirts and versatile pants that bridge outdoor performance with urban aesthetics. The footwear lineup introduces new colorways of the Sella sneaker, a lighter version of the Katharina, the perforated Fedaia mule, and the Arpy sandal, designed for maximum breathability.

Shot by Achille Mauri at the Giardino Sonoro by Pinuccio Sciola in Sardinia, the campaign reflects the connection between fashion and landscape. The sculpted stone formations interact with the garments in a play of connections between body, space, and matter, amplifying the dialogue between nature and human creation at the core of ROA’s vision.
